So I have a new girlfriend, the brunette on the right, Valerie.  Here is the new set with her and Desirae (whom you might remember from a previous shoot).  You'll be seeing lots more of Valerie.  Isn't she a hottie??

Mamie Van Doren

Looks like Marilyn in this one, but it's actually the septuagenarian Mamie Van Doren in Untamed Youth (1957).

Peeking in on my girlfriend Natasha....

 

Hi girls and guys! 

I decided to spare everyone a blog entitled "The Trouble with Hypocrisy and Sex in America," and just post these pictures of me peeping on Natasha.

I really did want to write that blog about sex in America though, I have to confess.  I had a lot of it ready to go!

I was going to illustrate some points with examples from the slew of non-news items in the last month regarding such notables as Audrina Patridge's "art" photos, Spitzer's whore gone wild pics/vid, the "prude" girl from Sex in the City and her (very) amateur sex pics, and even Lilo doing a spread with Marilyn Monroe's photographer, etc.

Are these things really such a big deal?  Is sex or nudity still shocking in the world of "Two Girls and One Cup"?  Sad to say it is to some people. I could cry over what self-righteous finger pointers still get away with and accomplish in the "modern" world, but instead, I decided to take the tack of the Marquis DeSade and just look at all this sexual repression as a good thing. 

Rules, ethics, and morals just make our naughtiness feel that much naughtier.

Without rules to break, and social mores to flaunt, sex would lose a lot of its luster.  So while I won't say this often, I will say it today:  Let's hear it for the Puritans!

Also it is oh, so hilarious when high ranking officials fall face first into their own disgrace over the very "vices" they were so vocal against.  Let's hear it for reporters, the almighty god of the scandal.   (The moral here is to be in a biz where any scandal is a good scandal--which is not politics.)

Good thing I'll never be running for public office!  Not that my bare butt or exposed nipples would stand in my way.  No, I suffer instead from being congruent!  Politics is no place for a woman who tells the truth!

Descanso Gardens

These are from Descanso Gardens last week!  Desyrae and I had a fun time.  It was pretty uneventful except for when we got in trouble for shooting on top of a waterfall that was off limits and one of the workers told us we couldn't do it!

The rest of the pictures are in my flickr as usual.  Soon I'm going to try to make Picasa web album too and see how I like that.  Any other web albums people would like to see my photos on?  Flickr is pretty nice as far as I'm concerned, but I don't mind having an alt.

Mediterranean Stir-Fry

An easy and tasty dish by Izabael.

Ingredients:

2 skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 handful of cashew nuts
1 cup of sliced mushrooms
1 yellow bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 half of a red union
Ready-to-eat hummus
Jasmine rice pilaf (any flavor)

Heat the pan on a medium flame and add olive oil. Cube the breast and slice the vegetables.  Add that in and cook for 20 minutes.

Add water to a pot with some olive oil heat until boil. Then add the rice.  Reduce heat to low and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

When that has finished heat with olive oil or roasted sesame oil, add the cashews, and then cook for 3 minutes on a medium flame. 

Add the mushrooms and cook for 7 minutes.

Organize your plate; Place the rice first, then the chicken, and then the hummus.  On top, add the mushroom/cashews.

You could also put it on tortillas and then you would have Mediterranean Fajitas.

Gravestone Pin-up

In my everlasting search for innovative use of pinup I have found one of the coolest:

 

I predict gravestone pin-up will be even more popular in the future.  This lady commissioned the gravestone by Peter Schipperheyn for her dead husband Laurence Matheson.

 

They are pretty erotic.  I can imagine some uptight people getting in an uproar over having such a sexy depiction near their dead loved ones.  This is in Victoria, Australia so maybe they are more open-minded than us sexually-repressed Americans.

 

 

Sex and death go together like peanut butter and jelly.  If we looked forward to death as a sexual climax instead of a "dead end" people might enjoy their lives a little more too.  The only thing that kills our dread of death is sex.  That's why sexually-repressed America is a country running scared.  But I'm not going to rant about that.  It's either self-evident to people or they are in denial about it.

This whole photoshoot took under thirty minutes including scouting out the location!  Pin-up doesn't have to have anything fancy or complicated.   Of course for me it doesn't matter that I had this "portal into hell" handy.  Well come on, don't wait out there.  Step inside....hell's a lot more fun than the good guys would have you believe ;-)

Comic-Con 2007 (San Diego) photos

Ok, I'm posting the comic-con photos to Flickr today.  First I'm going to post a few of them here and make some comments on them.

Also, I'd like to note that while I took tons of pictures I'm only uploading a handful as they are much the same.  Most are either fans taking pictures of me, or me taking pictures with costume characters, or they are me in the hotel and have slight nudity (I have nothing against artful nudity, but all the sites I use have all sorts of nude restrictions--and even when they don't I don't want to alienate my sites from younger fans by doing so.)

Ok, first my favorite:

Just before this photo, Shaun Von Dragen pointed out that I was a true nerd and belonged at Comic-Con, because there were Comic-Con employees who were labeled "Elite", and I said that they would be extra hard to kill so we would need a full group.  (This is a World of Warcraft reference for the non-nerds out there.)

 

So I tell this dad that I am the "Angel of Death" but that didn't stop him from offering up his child for a chance to snap a photograph of me.

This little area was excellent, btw.  Much better than a real booth.  Everytime I would stop in here for more than 30 seconds a crowd would form to photograph me. 

That said, almost everyone was extremely nice and polite--except for walking around through the heavy crowds people would bump my wings :(

So I took a picture with these fantastic looking ladies, which didn't do much for my self esteem, as they were like gigantic tall.  Where do they grow girls like this?  I need to drink the water.

Needless to say neither Shaun nor I remember what the heck they were promoting.  There weren't as many booth babes as I thought there would be, but these two were definitely beautiful.

Then to add insult to injury, I hung out with the famous fatty from Return of the Jedi.

So with my flabby back, I felt like Jabba's little cousin or something :-(  But at least I don't drool in public--as far as anyone knows.

So our hotel was downtown San Diego at historical botique  hotel named the Sophia.  It was all redone this year but has been there since 1928.

It was very nice and we had a good time there.  The first night we got into town was after a long day fighting with Shaun because the 120 mile drive turned into drive from hell since we left in time for bumper-to-bumper all the way there. 

We went to dinner at a place called the Ivy--it was chosen randomly from a list of a half dozen chosen for us by the Concierge at our hotel as nice places to eat.  The prices weren't bad compared to shi-shi restaurants in LA, but my entire  dish consisted of 5(!) raviolis. 

Dessert was amazing and I had this crazy dessert that was two cotton-candys  (just like at a carnival or a faire)--one on either side of a dish of pink ice cream!  I wrapped the ice cream in strips of cotton-candy and the result was like eating delicious pink rain clouds!! And just as I was finishing my wonderful dessert guess who came floating by our table, Gwyneth Paltrow and Liv Tyler.  Shaun didn't even notice them go by, too busy was he with dessert, but it turns out they were promoting Iron Man so that was probably their hotel.  After that I wanted to go party, but Shaun was dead sleepy (all the arguing and driving) so that was the end of night one, except that we watched Shrek 3 which was ok.

Second day was our big Comic-Con day, and afterward we ate dinner at a rooftop bar with a nice view of San Diego.  The third day we went to Sea World, where I caught a farmer's tan, and later we shot a video that you-tube or the other video shares won't show even though it is pretty tame! :-/  Overall a really nice time.  I'm grateful for everything the universe provides me.  Enjoy the pictures!!  (The full set on Flickr)

Wizard World 2007

First of all, I wasn't nearly as close to the Suicide Girl's booth as I thought on set-up day.  They were quite a few "blocks" away.  I barely saw any of them the entire convention, but on Sunday, Von Dragen and I had a chance to cruise around after we sold out of books. 

They were all pretty cute in the typical SG way.  From what I gathered it's all volunteer so whichever ones wanted to show up were allowed.  That seems fine, but none of the girls there were in the products being sold which is pretty lame to me.  They should each be allowed and encouraged to come with stacks of glossies to sell with autographs.  I guess the girls like the supportive community, but selling your image to a website for a 2-year exclusive license seems short-sighted if you plan to seriously make money with your face and body.  If any of you SGs have realized this and are at the end of your contract, you can contact me here and I'll help you get started with no one in control but yourself.     

But maybe none of them want that!  I guess I'm just an old-fashioned, do-it-yourself girl... :-)

Also there was a guy inside the booth with tons of tattoos.  Von Dragen asked him if he was supposed to be a "Suicide Boy."  I laughed because either way he definitely looked like a flamer, but the guy said he was attached to one of the girls named Fractal.  I couldn't remember what a fractal was because i'm a ditz. 

Fractal was pretty hot honestly, and later I had the pleasure to see her sets online and she looks even better there.  She wasn't very engaging though personality-wise.  This was a symptom most of the girls were reported to share based on what other  conventioneers told me over the course of 3-days.   Most people said they seemed to be far happier chatting with themselves than engaging fans.

However, Shaun disputes this and says most of them were quite nice if you bothered to ask questions and keep the conversation going.  He said that only one really stood out in particular though.  "A young coquette with shortish brown hair, a fresh smile and subtly mischievous eyes."  I think he said her name was Pistolina.   

   

Luckily, we also had the pleasure of meeting and spending a little time with a true beauty both inside and out. Over at the Baby Tattoo booth we met Tyese, an adorably erotic brunette. She's small but looks deadly to me with those soulful eyes and mysterious lips. She is on the cover of a tight little art book called "Visions from within the Mechanism: The Industrial Surrealism of Jeffery Scott (1019)" by the aforementioned publisher. It's Giger-derivative but he does enough of his own spin to make it very worthwhile. Also I enjoy his use of more colors while exploring Gigerish themes.

   

I don't have tons to say about the convention.  As you can see by the pictures, I was insanely busy with fans. The only other hottie of note besides your usual assortment of bunnies and pets squeezed into "Love Boat Alley" along with "Bud Bundy", Lou Gossett Jr., and the perennial Lou Ferrigno, was Metal Sanaz. She was delightfully delicious in person with sexy, long black and blonde-streaked hair.  This death metal diva has a body that, sadly, even I would die for. But I should also warn you that she will totally ninja you with camera footage whether you want her to or not. 

Von Dragen probably had more time to enjoy the convention than I because he just sneaks off all the time though he swears he was busy networking…uhh-huhhh…;-) He was pleased to meet one of his favorite comic book artists, Bill Sienkiewicz, and came back from hanging out with
